Physical TherapyOur clinic is staffed with New York State licensed professionals who have extensive knowledge and training in anatomy, physiology, and the biomechanics of the body. They know how to help you get out of pain and back in action. Our therapists use a hands-on approach in conjunction with specific tools such as electrical stimulation, cold laser, ultrasound and iontophoresis to help decrease your pain and inflammation so we can help you get your joints moving and muscles stronger.
Manual TherapyWhen most people think of manual therapy they envision a practitioner bending them to their painful limit or cracking their joints. We do not like this stigma that follows most physical therapists. We utilize soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques that will help restore your normal joint movement. Sometimes there is pain associated with regaining movement but our goal is to make this process as painLESS as possible.
Pain ManagementUse of moist heat, cryotherapy, ultrasound, phonophoresis, lontophoresis, and massage.
Therapeutic ExercisesCustomized for each condition including strengthening, stabilizing, and stretching restricted structures to restore normal pain-free range of motion. The exercises improve movement and proper muscle balance.
Postural CorrectionsThis addresses behaviors modification, postural exercise, and self-awareness. We concentrate on correcting musculoskeletal derangements.
Home Management ProgramA short and detailed home exercise program corresponding to the appropriate stage of condition, including do's and don'ts of self-management.
A recent study in the medical journal Spine found that Physical Therapy helped 92% of patients who suffer from low back pain.
